The Vaping Community Needs Your Help!
We need YOUR help!
As some of you may already heard, the FDA released their final deeming last week. The FDA has officially classified Electronic Cigarettes, and any Vapor Product a Tobacco product.
So what does this mean for the Vaping Community?
The FDA wants to put any Vapor product that was manufactured after February 15th, 2007 (which is, most likely, every product you are currently using!) through a lengthy application process to be approved by the FDA. These applications apply to any and all vapor products including, coils, tanks, batteries, e-liquid etc. Each application is costly, and would remove the products you know and love from the shelves until they are approved. Most businesses may not be able to afford these costs, ultimately causing businesses to go under or significantly raising prices.
What can you do to help?
Support the HR 2058 bill, which would change the February 2007 predicate date to allow all vapor products to remain on the market. We urge you to send a letter or email to your local representatives David Schweikert and Trent Franks to help win the fight against the FDA regulations!
