Traveling with Your E-cigs
I can remember the day when it was common to see smokers lighting up on public transportation such as planes and trains. But as the health dangers of smoking become more apparent and on the minds of the traveling public, increasing restrictions have been placed on where you can smoke. Today, e-cigs are the perfect option for the frequent traveler. Not only do you have the freedom to vape in more places and at more convenient times, but e-cig supplies are compact, light, and easily transportable.
When traveling by car, your non-smoking family and friends will thank you for not exposing them to dangerous cigarette smoke in the enclosed space. You can carry on a conversation without all the highway noise from the rolled down windows as you had to when smoking cigarettes. Also, you won’t be “that guy” that needs to stop for repeated smoke breaks while others are waiting on you and wrinkling their noses when you step back into the car.
When you are on a trip and need a safe and convenient way to carry all of your tanks, juice, batteries and chargers, there are a few options based on how much you will need and how long you will be gone. If you will be on an extended trip, try using a pencil pouch or a toiletry bag. If your trip is short, you could use a makeup bag or coin pouch for your supplies or simply good old zip-top plastic bags will work.
When it comes to cruise lines, vaping is no exception when it comes to smoking restrictions. But since electronic cigarettes aren’t a fire hazard and don’t have the stinky smoke of tobacco cigarettes, many cruise lines are fairly lenient on vapers. Keep in mind that most do not allow vaping in dining rooms as many passengers will still mistake them for regular cigarettes.

- Make sure you bring enough supplies to last your trip. It doesn’t hurt to have a little extra juice. Our sample packs are perfect for travel and saves you $$$. Be sure and pack 2 or more batteries for your trip. You’ll need one while the other is recharging, or in case you lose one.
- If you’re traveling out of your country, make sure you have the right adapter. You don’t want to be stuck without any way to charge your e-cig battery! You’ll also need to pack whatever charging device you have. This really depends on how you’re traveling. If it’s by car, be sure and pack a car charger if you have one. If you’re staying at a hotel, bring your regular charger. And if you have a Personal Charging Case (PCC), pack that too for when you’re out visiting the sites.
- Know the local vaping laws. You may be able to vape freely at home, but there are a lot of places that e-cigs are banned where traditional cigarettes are also banned.
- One last thing, be sure to take some pics of yourself vaping on vacation or just enjoying the summer, and then share them with us on Facebook.
