What’s the difference between an RTA and an RDTA?
RTA – Rebuildable Tank Atomizer:
An RTA is a rebuildable atomizer with a deck that has posts and is covered by a sealed metal chamber cap. This chamber connects to a chimney that directs the vapor to your drip tip. Around this chamber is a tank reservoir for holding eliquid. The deck features slots where your cotton will lay. As eliquid saturates the cotton, the juice is delivered to the coils to be vaporized.
RDTA – Rebuildable Dripping Tank Atomizer:
RDTAs are basically an RDA (Rebuildable Dripping Atomizer) and an RTA combo that offers the flexibility to use it either way. There is an open-faced deck to build on and also a tank section below the deck to hold eliquid. Utilizing the deck only, you would simply remove the top cap and drip your juice directly onto the cotton. If you would like to utilize the tank section, you would extend the cotton wicks farther down into the tank, through holes in the deck, so the eliquid will saturate the cotton ends and feed up onto the coils in the deck for vaporizing.
