Which Vaping Style Suits You Best?
by Kaylin
Do you know the difference between Mouth to Lung and Direct Lung Inhale?
You may hear us talking often about Mouth to Lung and Direct Lung Inhale, but what does it really mean? Well, I’m here to tell you…
If you inhale vapor the same way as you may have with cigarettes before, you have mouth to lung already nailed. It’s exactly as it sounds, you inhale the vapor into your mouth first, collect it there, then breathe it fully into your lungs. With Direct Lung Inhale, you want to skip the step of inhaling into your mouth, and inhale as you would when you’re breathing.
Now that we’ve covered the difference, what are the benefits of both and when should you use one over the other? With more restricted and low power devices such as our iCare 2 and Nautilus tanks, you want to use the Mouth to Lung approach. With these restricted devices Mouth to Lung is the best way to get a more full and satisfying vape. You’ll get better flavor and will be able to inhale more vapor this way than if you tried to use a restricted device for a Direct Lung Inhale approach. If you’re looking for a less restricted hit with big clouds, Direct to Lung devices are the way to go. Devices such as the Smok Stick V8 and the NRG tank with the Vaporesso Revenger have a lot more airflow and substantially more power. This will create more vapor at a much more rapid pace and will feel more similar to breathing. If you tried to use a Mouth to Lung approach with these you’d likely experience a lot of coughing as that much vapor isn’t meant to sit in your mouth.
So, what have you found works for you? Have you tried both styles of devices? Come in and let us know! This week we’re having a great special for 10% off kits and mods for upgrading. So if you haven’t tried both styles of vaping, come on in to Vape Escapes, see what is new and save too!
